GCC Secretary General Condemns Assassination of Member of Saudi Consulate's Staff in Karachi

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned today the assassination of Hassan Al-Qahtani, Member of Saudi Consulate's Staff in Karachi, Pakistan.
The GCC Secretary General confirmed that this criminal attack is a flagrant violation of international norms relating to diplomatic missions. He expressed confidence in Pakistani authorities to take security measures to arrest criminals and bring them to justice in addition to providing protection for the Saudi diplomatic staff.
