Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for the Multilateral Relations, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Commission for Implementation of the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, expressed the Kingdom's thanks to the friendly and brotherly countries for supporting the Kingdom to be a member in the Executive Council of Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Turki said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was reelected yesterday for the membership of the OPCW executive council during the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention in The Hague. He also stressed the Kingdom's keenness to work with the other countries for enhancing convention of prohibiting chemical weapons.
