based Al-Nadwah said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the 60th session of the Executive Council of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), recently held in Hague, had reiterated its inalienable stand vis-a-vis deployment of chemical weapons and called for a world free from nuclear weapons. "The Kingdom has been repeatedly warning against the menace of weapons of mass-destruction at various international forums," the daily said. The paper affirmed that the Kingdom's call for international cooperation in this respect comes at the most suitable time, adding that some extremist countries own these dangerous weapons like Israel, but its acquisition of these weapons is overlooked by the world. "God willing, with strong determination for the containment of the chemical weapons, it will be possible to avoid falling of these weapons in hands of those who don't behave rationally and wisely." --MORE
