The Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, signed here today contracts worth SR 2,684,471,489 for the establishment of a number of scientific colleges and completion of major infrastructures in a number of universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The contracts included the establishment of scientific colleges in Umm Al-Qura University, Jazan University, Shaqra University, Taif University, and Dammam University. The contracts for the completion of major infrastructures will be implemented in King Saud University, Majma'ah University, Shaqra University, and Qassim University. Dr. Al-Anqari pointed out in a press statement on this occasion that the signing of contracts for these projects comes in the second phase of projects launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the month of Jumada II, last year, after his inauguration of the first phase of more than 16 university cities amounted to more than SR 81 billion.
