Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari has signed the contract of the project of building the power plant of the university city of Jazan University as part of construction contracts of a number of new university service projects with a total cost of SR 470 million. The project to establish the power plant is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education to complete the infrastructure project of the new university city built on the Red Sea coast in the city of Jizan on an area of ??nine million square meters. The first phase costs more than SR 3 billion. The Rector of the University of Jazan Dr Mohammed bin Ali Al Hiazaa expressed thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for supporting the university.
