AlHijjah 20, 1433, Nov 5, 2012, SPA -- General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and British Prime Minister David Cameron, met here today with the members of the UAE-British joint meeting. The UAE side was headed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, while the British side was headed by British Defence Secretary Philip Hamond. Sheikh Mohammed hailed the historic relations between the UAE and the UK, commending the efforts of the British government to strengthen the ties that date back over 200 years. For his part, the British Prime Minister noted that his government is looking forward to fruitful outcomes of the joint taskforce meetings to strengthen the relations and open new horizons for joint cooperation.
