Ban on Marches and Rallies is Temporary, Bahraini Interior Minister Says

AlHijjah 15, 1433, Oct 31, 2012, SPA -- Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahraini Minister of Interior Affairs, said that the marches and rallies will only be halted -rather than banned- until the security situation in Bahrain stabilizes.
According to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Sheikh Rashid added that the decisions aimed at preserving national unity, protecting social cohesion and avert all for forms of extremism.
