AlHijjah 9, 1433, Oct 25, 2012, SPA -- Rescue squads of the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent Authority have successfully evacuated and treated 36 pilgrims after being stampeded at a train station in Mina, on the outskirts of Makkah today. The pilgrims, most of them elders and women from different nationalities, fell to the ground under the feet of others who were trying to push their way inside gate 3 of the train's station in Mina. Ten ground ambulances, five motorcycles and one care unit rushed to the scene and sorted out the cases, rushing the most exhausted 18 of them to nearest hospitals and cured the rest on the sport.
