AlHijjah 7, 1433, Oct 23, 2012, SPA -- On the eighth day of Dhu-AlHijjah (Tarwiyya Day), pilgrims should purify themselves, wear Ihram and go to Mina before noon. When pilgrims put on their Ihram, they say Talbeeyah (the supplication a Muslim recites once he is in Ihram and has made his intention to perform Hajj). In Mina, they pray Dhuhr, Asr, Magrib, Isha and Fajr, shortening their four-unit prayers so as to make them two units each, without combining them. When the sun rises, pilgrims go to Arafah where they pray Dhuhr and Asr combined at the time of Dhuhr, making each one two units. They remember Allah and make as many supplications as possible while facing the Qibla.
