AlQa'dah 20, 1433, Oct 6, 2012, SPA - Police in the north-eastern French city of Strasbourg on Saturday shot dead a man while attempting to arrest him during an anti-terrorism operation, authorities said, according to DPA. Police returned fire and fatally injured the man after he opened fire, France Info radio quoted the prosecutor's office in Strasbourg as saying. No further details of the incident were immediately available. Besides Strasbourg, the police also carried out anti-terrorism raids in the Paris area and the southern city of Nice.
