AlQa'dah 20, 1433, Oct 6, 2012, SPA - Saudi Ambassador to Niger, Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Dayel, met here on Wednesday with Niger's Minister of Justice and Government Spokesman, Marou Amadou, to follow up an appeal filed by Saudi Embassy in Niamey on June 18, 2012 for the ruling of the Criminal Court against the persons accused of killing four Saudi citizens and wounding others seriously in the village of Dyambala in Niger, near the border with Mali. The Ambassador asked the Minister to speed holding the court's hearing to try the persons accused of killing Saudi citizens, stressing that the ruling issued last June does not rise to the level of the heinous crime committed against Saudi citizens and the damage to the wounded and their families. For his part, the Minister of Justice stressed his country's keenness on relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appreciating Kingdom's assistance to his country, and promising to intervene to end this case as soon as possible.
