AlQa'dah 19, 1433, Oct 5, 2012, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, stated while in his official visit in Paris, that he considers the loss of lives of a mother and her four children in the town of Akcakale on the Turkish – Syrian borders due to an artillery shell fired from the Syrian territories of a grave nature. Ihsanoglu condemned this sort of unacceptable behavior very strongly. According to OIC's website, the Secretary General underlined that the Syrian government must be very careful in not breaching the sovereignty rights of Turkey and of her other neighbors, and that Syria should take all essential precautions to prevent the repetition of such incidents. Ihsanoglu further invited Syria to expediently revert to cautious behavior and to careful attendance to the legitimate expectations of the Syrian people.
