Santos, 61, who disclosed Monday he had been diagnosed with non-aggressive prostate cancer, had the tumor removed by doctors at Santa Fe Foundation medical clinic in Bogota, Colombia Reports said, citing local media. Santos, who was put under regional anesthesia in the lower half of his body for the operation, is expected to remain hospitalized for two to three days.
