Peace talks between Colombian authorities and the leftist rebel group Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia(FARC) are set to start in the first half of October in Norway and then will continue in Cuba, according to dpa. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos confirmed the details Tuesday. South American media had reported the talks' schedule, but until Tuesday authorities had only confirmed that talks would be taking place. FARC also confirmed Tuesday that peace talks with the Bogota government are to start in Norway in early October and continue later in Cuba.
