AlQa'dah 16, 1433, Oct 2, 2012, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reiterated its call for a non-destructive arms free Middle East, noting that its admission to the Non-Proliferation of Chemical Weapons agreement comes from its belief of the importance of demilitarization and non-proliferation of destructive arms. In a speech before the High-level Meeting to mark the 15th anniversary of the convention, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer, Undersecrery of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral relations and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Commission for the Implementation of Non-Proliferation of Chemical and Biological Weapons Agreements, called for the strict implementation of all articles, particularly Articel No. 11, which states the importance of commitment of the parties to enhance international cooperation in the fields of useful chemical industry for humans and facilitate the transfer of technology and experience from industrialized countries to developed ones.
