AlQa'dah 15, 1433, Oct 1, 2012, SPA -- Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammer, Consultant of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and General Supervisor for King Abdulaziz Public Library, confirmed today that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Prize for Translation opens new and wide horizons for a comprehensive and serious dialogue among Arab and Islamic cultures on one hand and other cultures of the world on the other in all fields of human knowledge and paves the way for the mutual understanding of followers of different religions on the common lines among them. In a statement to mark the giving away of the prize to winners of the fifth session which will be held in Berlin, Germany, Muammer said the prize, together with King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Center for International Dialogue among followers of religions and cultures in Vienna are two arms of the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulah bin Abdulaziz for International Dialogue among followers of religions and cultures. He noted that the number of competitors are on the increase every year. He thanked Germany for hosting this year's giving away ceremony which will be held, from now on, in a major city of the world.
