AlQa'dah 12, 1433, September 28, 2012, SPA -- A bomb disposal expert was killed Friday while attempting to defuse a homemade device in Pakistan's troubled north-west, dpa quoted police as saying. Hukam Khan was leading a small squad sent in to clear a road on the outskirts of Peshawar, the capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. "The bomb disposal squad's sector in charge (Khan) received fatal injuries while his two colleagues survived the blast," said Muhammad Jehanzeb, an officer on duty at the Peshawar police control room. He said the road where the bomb was planted is one of the main routes leading to the Khyber tribal district and is regularly used by security convoys.
