AlQa'dah 3, 1433, Sep 19, 2012, SPA -- A Pakistan police official says a bomb has struck a passenger van in a city in northwest Pakistan, killing at least eight people. According to AP, Imtiaz Khan says the blast Wednesday afternoon on the outskirts of Peshawar also wounded 24 people. Khan says the target appeared to be a vehicle carrying Pakistani air force officials that was driving through the area. Police did not know whether any of the officials were among the casualties. It was not immediately clear whether the explosion was the work of a suicide bomber or a bomb planted in the area.
