AlQa'dah 5, 1433, Sep 21, 2012, SPA -- Police in Pittsburgh evacuated a city centre office building Friday after a man said to be armed with guns and a bomb took at least one hostage, dpa reported. Police were negotiating with the man. They also rushed a bomb unit to the scene and blocked off streets and closed public transportation hubs. "We are willing to talk as long as it takes to resolve this in a safe and orderly fashion," said Pittsburgh police chief Nate Harper, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. No shots have been fired and no one has been injured, Harper added. The office is occupied by a financial firm dealing with insurance, retirement and pension plans.
