AlQa'dah 5, 1433, Sep 21, 2012, SPA -- At least 16 people died in violent protests against an anti-Islam film across Pakistan on Friday, dpa cited police as saying. Karachi, most populous city along the country's southern coast, and the scene of major demonstrations, saw a total of 12 people, including three policemen, killed and 80 injured. Four people, including a worker from a local TV channel, were killed in north-western city of Peshawar, said the local ambulance service. With protests still continuing in Karachi, a police source told the figure could still rise further. -- SPA
