AlQa'dah 2, 1433, Sep 18, 2012, SPA - Majlis Al-Shura is considered as one of major pillars of the legislative authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is an important partner in decision-making through its efforts in discussing matters referred to it, or proposals submitted by its members on new or amended regulations. The Majlis has strengthened its role as a partner in decision-making and its initiatives have had positive impacts on the society concerning vital issues pertaining to the lives of citizens and their future. In terms of figures about its achievements, Majlis report showed that the Majlis issued 113 decisions during the period from 3/3 to 8/5/1433AH in the 4th year of the 5th session concerning annual reports of government agencies and international conventions and treaties. The Majlis discussed during that period 118 topics out of 160 in 49 sessions
