At least 13 people were killed Sunday in a roadside bombing in north-western Pakistan, a police official said. The early morning incident occurred in the Lower Dir district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. District police official Farman Ullah said by phone that the vehicle carrying villagers was hit by a bomb detonated by remote control. "Thirteen people including two women were killed in the blast while six injured were taken to medical facilities," he was quoted as saying by dpa.
