At Least 20 Feared Killed In Fire At Indian Fireworks Plant

At least 20 people were feared dead in an explosion Wednesday at a fireworks factory in southern India, news reports said.
A fire followed the explosion at the Om Sakthi Cracker factory in Mudalapatti in the Sivakasi district of Tamil Nadu state, Times Now television channel reported.
District Police Superintendent Majmal Hooda was quoted as saying that 20 people were feared dead and more than 40 injured by fire and shrapnel.
