As Many As 2,057 People Cross Through Rafah Crossing

As many as 2,057 people crossed yesterday through the Rafah land port. At least 978 people of them came from Gaza and the remaining 1,079 people (who came from Egypt) entered the Palestinian territories.
An official source said the port had been functioning according to the new mechanism, effective from May 28, 2011. The total number of transients during this period reached 483,898 people.
