Indonesian police said they have detained 21 Vietnamese who illegally logged a rare type of wood in a protected forest, according to AP. Local police chief Lt. Col. Trisno Rianto said the Vietnamese were caught as they left the forest in Aceh province on Sunday with a vehicle filled with agarwood. Rianto said Monday that six of the suspects will be arrested for illegal logging while the 15 others will be handed over to immigration officials for violating their tourist visas. He said the Vietnamese had been collecting agarwood in the forest since early last month.
