Japanese shares were mixed Monday after gains on Wall Street, but losses on other Asian bourses weighed on market sentiment. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average gained 14.63 points, or 0.16 per cent, to end at 9,085.39 while the broader-based Topix index was down 1.86 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 755.37, according to a report of DPA.
