EU President to Visit Madrid, Berlin, Paris

European Union President Herman Van Rompuy will visit Madrid, Berlin and Paris in the coming weeks, his office said Friday, amid a round of diplomacy over the eurozone's debt crisis.
According to dpa, Van Rompuy will meet Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy on Tuesday. Speculation has been rife that the crisis-battered country will soon tap into more financial aid.
He will then travel to Berlin on September 4 for talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, followed by a meeting with French President Francois Hollande on September 5.
