The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) hailed the call by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud to hold a summit of Islamic solidarity on Tuesday and Wednesday in Makkah and his commitment to the unification of Muslims and the support for their causes. Director-General of ALECSO Dr. Mohamed El Aziz Ben Ashour said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency that the call by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Summit of Islamic solidarity in this blessed month, will contribute to raising the spirit of solidarity and unity, adding that this Summit is a valuable initiative to confront the advocates of division and discord among Muslims.
