The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold the Fourth Extra-ordinary Session of the Islamic Summit Conference in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, on 26-27 Ramadan 1433H (14-15 August 2012), which was called for by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz to examine situations in many countries of the Islamic world, intensify efforts to confront these situations, address the sources of discord and division therein, reunify the Islamic Ummah and promote Islamic solidarity. The Fourth Extra-Ordinary Islamic Summit will be preceded by two meetings, the first at the level of Foreign Ministers to prepare for the Summit and the second at the level of senior officials to prepare for the Ministerial meeting.
