Fitr is a manifestation of cohesion and an element of divine unity among all Muslims which unite them in all their places whatever might be their sects for spreading the meanings of love and solidarity. Fasting and Eid Al-Fitr are elements of coalition and unity calling for renunciation of division. They are causes for convergence and unity that eliminate divergence and dissension. This is a divine wisdom for uniting Muslims which calls for reviewing their contemporary situations, eliminating the impurities and reconsidering and rectifying their current positions. We address you from the country of the Two Holy Mosques which is the source of Arabism and Islam. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was united on the basis of love and peace and became an example of unity, purity, reconstruction and construction. The Kingdom will continue to perform its duty with full force to enhance the spirit of love and harmony, to heal the wounds of Arab and Muslim worlds and to achieve the principles of justice and peace so that our world enjoys security, stability and prosperity which have been attributed to this country since its unification by the founder late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. --More
