Four civilians were kidnapped and killed by militants in central Afghanistan, a provincial official said Wednesday. "These people were travelling from Kabul to a remote area in Jalrez district of Wardak province when they were kidnapped by the insurgents late Tuesday," said Shahidullah Shahid, spokesman for the Wardak governor. "Their bodies were found this morning in the area." He said the Afghans were not government officials, according to a report of DPA.
