Tourists To Kingdom Spend SR 7.1 Billion In 1st Quarter-2012: MAS Report

A statistical report of Tourism Information and Research Center "MAS", an affiliate of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has estimated that the total number of incoming tourist flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the first quarter of 2012 was 2.9 million trips during which tourists spent around SR 7.1 billion.
The report disclosed that the domestic flights during the first quarter totaled about 5 million trips during which SR 7.4 billion were spent.
The total flights departing from the Kingdom was about 4.5 million trips during which tourists spent about SR 17 billion.
