The International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), an affiliate of Muslim World League (MWL), has commended the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to immediately start a national fund-raising campaign in support of the Syrian people. The Organization's Secretary General, Dr. Adnan bin Khalil Basha, pointed out that the campaign is an extension of the Kingdom's relief assistance to the people affected by disasters and plights all over the world, noting that the Kingdom tops the list of humanitarian relief contributors and ranks the first one among countries in assisting refugees and displaced peoples. It is noteworthy that the Organization has provided medical aid, foodstuffs, and garments worth SR 10 million to thousands of Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon.
