International Islamic Relief Organization of Saudi Arabia (IIROSA), an affiliate of Muslim World League (MWL), has recently implemented an intensive relief campaign including foodstuffs and clothes to assist people affected by drought in Mauritania as well as Malian refugees in some camps set up in Mauritania by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The Organization's Secretary General, Dr. Adnan bin Khalil Basha, has pointed out that as many as 3,281 poor families and 75,000 Malian refugees have benefitted from the relief campaign.
