Police say a passenger bus has fallen into a gorge in a mountainous highway near Ramban, a town nearly 150 kilometers (95 miles) south of Srinagar, killing at least 15 people. At least 17 others are injured, according to a report of the Associated Press. Police officer Anil Mangotra says the driver apparently lost control at a sharp bend on the highway. The bus fell 40 meters (130 feet) into the gorge at about midnight Saturday. The injured have been hospitalized, the official said Sunday.
