The Saudi Embassy in Washington held here yesterday a luncheon party in honor of a delegation of King Abdullah City For Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE), currently on a visit to the United States of America, headed by the City's Vice President Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Sulaiman. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr Sulaiman said "The visit comes within the framework of reaching a cooperation agreement between Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy, and within the framework of Saudi Arabia' seeking for benefiting from the new sources of energy represented by nuclear and renewable energy sources." He explained that the visit's schedule includes a number of meetings with officials concerned with the agreement from U.S. Departments of Energy and State.
