Qatari-Algerian MOU On Iron and Steel Complex In Jijel Governorate

Algeria and Qatar signed here today a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish an iron and steel complex in the governorate of Jijel in north-eastern Algeria, with an estimated total production capacity of 5 million tons per year.
The MOU was co-signed by Algerian Minister of Industry and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Mohammed bin Moradi and Qatari Minister of Economy and Finance Yousef Hussein Kamal, who is currently visiting Algeria.
