Pakistan and Qatar sign MoUs

Pakistan and Qatar have signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) under which Qatar will make investments in banking, Insurance and power sectors in Pakistan, said an official statement.
Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Qatari Finance Minister Yousef Hussain Kamal also witnessed the signing ceremony.
Under one agreement, the Qatar Islamic Bank will set up its branch in Pakistan. Qatar will commission 500 MW power plant in Pakistan.
