Russian President Starts Jordan Visit

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday began a short working visit to Jordan for talks with King Abdullah II on bilateral ties and means of cementing cooperation in various fields.
The two leaders will also discuss political developments in the Middle East and efforts to bring about peace in the region as well as circumstances surrounding the Palestinian-Israeli peace process, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
