The 22nd session of the Joint Ministerial Meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union will be held in the city of Luxemburg on Monday. The GCC side will be headed by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who is the current Chairman of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The other foreign ministers of member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union as well as GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani will participate in the session. The European side will be led by the High Representative for Foreign Policy of the European Union Catherine Ashton. The meeting will discuss relations between the GCC and the EU and other regional and international issues of common concern.
