The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) is deeply saddened by the passing away of late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement issued today, UNRWA said that Prince Naif was a strong supporter of Palestine refugees. Through his leadership of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People and the King's Campaign for the Support of the People of Gaza, Prince Naif was instrumental in providing Palestine refugees, through UNRWA, with generous financial support on all occasions. He was awarded in 2010 the UNRWA Distinguished Donor Award as testament to his unwavering humanitarian endeavors. The Agency and the Palestine refugees it serves express their condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
