Dr. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has announced that the OIC will hold a meeting of the executive committee at the level of the Foreign Ministers on 24 June, 2012 in Jeddah. In a press statement after his meeting with the Premier of the Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi, the OIC Secretary General said that the ministerial meeting will discuss a number of issues, including the Syrian crisis, the latest developments in Sudan in addition to the Palestinian prisoners. The committee includes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Malaysia, Egypt, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Djibouti.
