Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defence, expressed his pleasure over the fruitful results achieved during his visit to Spain for the interest of the two friendly countries. In a press statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) at the conclusion of his visit, the Prince said, "I have conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince, to King Juan Carlos of Spain. My meetings with Spanish senior officials will have a great impact on the successes bilateral relations in various fields for the interest of the two friendly peoples and countries, stressing identical viewpoints and attitudes of the two sides regarding all matters discussed." Prince Salman added what has distinguished our bilateral relationship with Spain is close and friendly ties between the leaderships of the two countries and their peoples, which makes us keen to enhance these deep-rooted relationships in all areas, notably in the areas of defense. He hoped for continuing further cooperation between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of their friendly peoples.
