Dr. Bakri bin Matooq Assas, Rector of Umm Al-Qura University, met here today with Mohammed Shawkat, British Consul General in Jeddah. During the meeting, they lauded bilateral relations and the joint cooperation in all fields between the two countries. For his part, the British official hailed the efforts exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince for serving Islam and Muslims. Meanwhile, the British Consul General visited here today Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute of the Hajj Research. During the visit, he was briefed on the activities of the institute.
