The Committee of Review of Violations of Local Haj Companies recently issued punishments against 49 companies. Monitoring Committees affiliated to the Ministry of Haj toured 233 companies and establishments licensed to serve pilgrims at home during the Haj season of 1430H. The punishments included fines ranging between SR10,000 and SR50,000, financial compensation for the affected pilgrims, a 10 percent reduction in the quota of pilgrims licensed to be served and expulsion from the Kingdom for non
