The Ministry of Commerce and Industry last year confiscated more than 670,000 counterfeit items, and referred 10 cases to relevant authorities, a statement by the ministry said on Saturday. The statement added that members of the commercial fraud commission who participated in security campaigns in Riyadh inspected more than 2,000 locations including factories, warehouses, resorts, apartments, houses and shops. The confiscated items included perfumes, car spare parts, watches and foodstuff.
