DAMMAM — Human Abilities Development & Advancement Foundation (HADAF) conducted a workshop “Love Yourself” recently at Rose Restaurant in Dammam. The founder of HADAF and a well-known personality development trainer, Nayeem Javed, exhorted the participants to explore their personality and make use of their creativity and ideas. Using meaningful allegories, interesting anecdotes and philosophical thoughts of renowned scholars, Javed inspired the audience to take the first step forward fulfilling their dreams and achieving their goals. “We are the ones who decimate our dreams either by considering them impractical or shying away from taking the first step,” he stressed. The questions & answers session was very interactive and the participants expressed their satisfaction with the clarifications and requested for conducting such workshops. Some of the participants had come all the way from Riyadh and Jubail. They also requested HADAF to arrange such lectures in those cities. HADAF is a non- profit organization, which focusses on education and training of the members of the weaker sections of the society. It has arranged several series of lectures and workshops on different topics including personality development and conducted many literary events. It has also undertaken the task of training young Indians to compete in the Civil and Foreign Services competitions in India. HADAF not only motivates and train them but also finance them. On the literary front the organization is committed for the development of Urdu language among the Indians and those belonging to the subcontinent. Every year it organizes grand Mushaira to pay tribute to the poet-philosopher Allama Iqbal. — SG
