NEW YORK — Francisco Lindor had three hits and four RBIs, while Danny Salazar pitched seven strong innings as the Cleveland Indians beat the Kansas City Royals 5-1 in their American League match Wednesday. Lindor hit a solo home run, his ninth of the season, in the first inning, had a two-run single in the second and an RBI single in the fourth inning. Salazar (13-8) pitched six scoreless innings before giving up a solo home run to third baseman Mike Moustakas leading off the seventh. He gave up four hits, with six strikeouts and two walks.
