RIYADH — More than 130,000 Syrians are currently enrolled in schools and universities across the Kingdom, according to figures from the Ministry of Education. Almost 125,000 are studying in general educations schools, while around 6,700 are studying at university. An equal number of male and female Syrians are enrolled in tertiary study. Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the ministry said, has stressed that Syrian students in the Kingdom should be treated as Saudi students. The Syrians are enrolled in universities and schools across a number of provinces, and have had access to medical treatment at local hospitals.
