IN line with its strategic plan to improve the skills of young Saudis, Panda Retail Company announced the completion its 2015 summer training program for 2305 trainees to work within its 460 branches. The summer program aimed to develop capacities of young trainees according to the needs of the local retail market and as per the policy of the nationalization of the work force in the country. Muwaffaq Jamal, Chief Executive Officer of Panda Retail Co, said “more than 2305 trainees have benefited from the summer program since it was kicked off." He explained that the company has developed a special program to train young people who wish to join and work for Panda, where are explained Ethics and Environment work at the company in addition to the nature of the retail sector in the Kingdom through training in various departments to gain real experience cognitive process in this great vital sector in addition to their participation in the spirit of teamwork with the team of the company. He added that the Panda retail company believes in people development, “We are honored to support the youth of the country and provide them with necessary skills and knowledge that will enable them to successfully enter the job market,” he said. Panda Retail Company RC has contributed in the training and employment of more than 10, 000 Saudi men under the agreement between the Savola Group and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training to found the Saudi Institute for Retail Sales and Marketing. — SG
